Honda Grom Dirt Bike! Maxxis M6024 Tire Install And Fender Mod

what is going on you guys I hope you all  are having a great day so I’m gonna rush  right now have some plans for the ground  you already saw the title let’s get it  done    feels great  I will explain all of this in a second    well this is sketchy alright guys sorry  for the rush there is literally not  enough time in the day so I know a while  back I talked about wanting to turn my  Grom into a dual sport and I don’t want  to say that my mind’s changed but I do  want to do something a little bit  different so I’m still gonna do a few  dual sport oriented mods but I’m also  gonna use it as a stunt bike so I’m not  gonna go over the top with the dual  sport stuff but as you guys know I love  to go off-roading so we did it guys we  picked up some Max’s tires the local  power sports dealer only had front ones  in stock so I got a brand new front with  a slightly used rear huge shout-out to  Shannon Wilson go ahead and give him a  follow so I didn’t want to change these  myself because my wheels are still in  perfect condition and I don’t really  have the right tools to do it I do all  my dirt bike tires myself but that’s a  little bit different I usually don’t  care about the wheels on those so my  buddy Tyler’s dad knows somebody that  has a tire shop in Delaware so I’m  headed there right now got an hour till  close so hopefully you can get it done  so we can go riding tonight but I’m on  my way to pick up Kylie right now so  I’ll check back in with you when we get  there what’s happening good    oh you would not believe  2007 gsxr 600 fairings  it their wheel  chuck did not fit the ground wheels  they’re too small so he’s gonna have to  make something custom in order to do it  I really don’t want to go to a  dealership because they charge a  ridiculous amount of money to do it I  would rather support a local shop and  get it done so we’ll see what happens I  might have to spoon them I don’t want to  tear up my wheels but we’ll see the next  – well you guys we’ve made it back home  from the stealer ship got the wheels  with me I’m so happy with the way they  look like I said my buddy Shannon hooked  it up with this tire as you can see it’s  pretty worn down so I might as well  start with two new ones and I’ll  probably give us back to
them but here  they are would you just take a look at  that they look so good got the gold rim  stripes still on there from decal dino  guys I’ve been wanting to run these  since I got my crumb I finally have them  on there and I couldn’t be any happier  check out the meat on that whoo here  they are side-by-side this is the rear  one obviously quite a bit wider these  are pretty well worn down compared to  the new ones so I’m happy with that the  Grom is still standing surprisingly but  I’m gonna go get a Lexus right now and  we’re gonna try to put these back on the  bike all right guys so time for the not  so fun part I’m gonna be completely  honest but I’m gonna start with the  front first just so I can show you my  bike is probably gonna fall in the  process this will be interesting  you just want to make sure that your  brake pads are separated so you can get  the disc in you can just stick a  flathead in there and kind of work I’m  open go ahead and put your spacers in  you don’t want to forget those I was  curious to see how these nabis would fit  underneath this fender so we will see  boom got the front end you definitely  want a better stand than this guys this  is what I call the rednecks special also  definitely make sure that these are  torque to spec the front is 40  foot-pounds in the rear is 44  you know me most of the time I don’t  worry about torque but this is  definitely one of those that I always  make sure is torque to spec now the back  is definitely a lot more tasking than  the front  you have to get the disk on and  ninja 300 fairings    the  spacer on the caliper as well as fitting  this drum inside of the wheel perfectly  so it’s definitely a lot more involving  but you can get it done make sure you  have your spacers in and ready  beforehand all right so you’re gonna  want to start by putting your axle in  your chain adjuster go ahead and pick up  the wheel all right  chain adjuster fell out definitely get  your axle started going through the left  side as soon as you can it kind of helps  take the weight off of everything but  after that if you don’t want to put your  caliper on whoa and now here’s where you  want to tighten your chain and get your  wheel into alignment and after doing  this a few times you’re definitely gonna  want some aftermarket chain adjusters  I’m gonna go ahead and tighten that lock  nut down torque to spec you ever pick up  a ground whoa we have knobbies    so as you guys know I’ve been doing a  lot of off-roading lately on the ground  and we’ve been doing some pretty serious  stuff    and I know a few of you guys noticed but  some of you didn’t you guys thought I  was still running the street tires but I  wanted to be sure to do a good review of  these tires for any of you out there  that are interested I also just did one  last minute modification and I think you  guys are gonna like it        dude that looks dope with no fun girl  you see how much stuff’s caked in there  oh my god I know it’s like 10 pounds  yeah  but do you see the black marks where it  was like burning out against the fender  the neck very that is crazy so now I was  thinking one last thing it’s gonna be  pretty redneck but it might work the  problem with doing this is the water  literally will just like shoot up like  straight into your face so I think I got  some little dirtbike plastics like    outside the ground man  you could just runs it tight right here  oh heck you’re out on that around this  dude that looks bad what you doing there  oh you know just some custom  modifications here I’m going with the  factory Kawasaki fender on the ground  it’s actually the rear fender I’ll take  a hex 100 faceting by zip ties only oh  come on you all have faith in zip ties  zip ties are  2008 zx6r fairings   the best now that just  stuff you do zip ties are
the best  invention I make sure we put some of my  backpack this side looks a little loose  right here it is Kawasaki Grom check  that out man you got some Kawasaki vibes  going on here don’t be alarmed but these  tires will fit with the stock fender but  the problem comes when you start to get  in some thick mud and go through some  clay that fender will actually clog up  with mud if you guys remember one of my  videos way back when I got stuck at a  construction site and I almost had to  call somebody to pick me up because my  fender got clogged oh I’m gonna regret  this oh crap  Oh guys we just got stuck oh look at  that mud my front tire has so much mud  in it that it’s not spinning I’m getting  worried here yes oh one of the guys on  the Morgantown trip wasn’t running a  Fender at all and it was just shooting  water and mud like straight up into his  face so I didn’t want to do that but I  also wanted to take it off so we can  really have some fun today so I had an  old KX 100 rear fender sitting around  and I just mounted it up and motorcycle fairings   it actually  looks pretty good guys I think in the  future I’m actually gonna trim this down  and see if I can get it to fit up in  here to give it a nicer cleaner look  Plasti Dip it black or something and I  mean he could buy a supermoto fender for  these but I just thought it was  hilarious and it actually fits fairly  well and it’s gonna do the job just fine  but so far you guys I am loving them on  my last off-road ride this is what I was  running no I was not running the street  tires that kind of riding would  literally be impossible on the street  tires so finally got the nobbies on  they’re headed into town right now to  meet up with a scooter crew we’re gonna  see what we can get into should be a  good day I’ll take you along with me  enjoy the ride  Oh oh my gosh  oh my god  dude this is definitely a trail that was  definitely a gunshot oh that was harsh  that’s no good  [Applause]

Watch BEFORE You Buy! 0-60 mph Suzuki Boulevard M109R Ride, Review, Impressions, Best Muscle Bike

all right buenos dias que tal amigos  John’s moto garage as always welcome  back to the channel today’s the day of  reckoning we’re taking the Suzuki  Boulevard m109 R and we’ll talk a little  bit about the bike is this the mother of  all muscle bikes is it really as gnarly  as they say it is who the heck would  want to mob one of these bikes don’t  worry we’ll talk about all of that and  more the boulevard and 109 R monster all  right let’s jump on it I’ll make yamaha r1 fairings   my  heart’s racing you guys every time I  throw a leg over this thing it’s a  little bit oh that’s cool haven’t even  gotten started and I’m already breaking  stuff came to GoPro not handle this  monster muscle bike before we jump into  it  a little bit of a zero to 60  whoo oh my gosh dude my heart’s racing  are you guys the boulevard m109 are why  the heck would anybody mob this  motorcycle we’re gonna talk a little bit  about that we’ll do the ride review  impressions on the bike over the goods  and the bads we’ll go over why this bike  might be the right bike for you as well  as why you may want to avoid this  motorcycle at all costs but let’s start  with the basics right so it’s a 109  cubic inch that’s about an 1800 CC  by speed liquid-cooled these are a shaft  drive  it falls into the category known as  performance cruiser and or muscle  cruiser which to many  would seem like an oxymoron and you  wouldn’t be totally wrong because you  would think
if you want a  performance-oriented bike then you just  go get a sport bike and that if you’d  want a cruiser you just go get a cruiser  so you would almost think like this is  the worst of both worlds in a sense  and this thing’s a freakin monster  but it doesn’t take long throwing a leg  over and taking this bike for a quick  spin to realize why somebody might be  stoked on this motorcycle alright so for  starters the teen is freaking massive  109 cubic inch engine 1800 CC one of the  large definitely on the larger side as  far as the motorcycle engines produced  especially at the time starting out in  oh six when they came out with this you  didn’t have a ton you had the Yamaha  gross our warrior 1700 the VTX 1800 of  course the triumph rocket the monster  rocket you had the Yamaha Raider and  2008 that came out  so the boulevard definitely groups in  with all those other performance  cruisers the v-rod the v-max  but it does stand out a little bit and I  think one of the reason why  r6 fairings  I stand out  is because it comes from the  line and I definitely think has some  inspiration from the Hayabusa  just with the lines on it  firstly I’ve never been a huge fan of  how the Hayabusa looks they aesthetics  and I’m not really a huge fan  on the bowl of our m109 are either a  little bubbly for my taste I feel like  it’s one of the bikes you that really  dig how it looks or you don’t  but you jump on and take it for a spin  that may convince you to look past the  hey aesthetics if you don’t dig it their  total toward monsters from idle up to  like 75 hundred rpms at redline in  freaking polls it’s not as sharp as the  torque and response that you get with a  sport bike obviously  it’s just here consistent seamless  torque throughout and that’s what makes  it a wicked fun bike to ride and for how  massive the bike is starting with the  240 rear tire to the tank to the engine  to the drag bars it’s just a real wide  earthy motorcycle however you jump on
and it’s actually it’s deceptively agile  and nimble for what for as big as  looking as a motorcycle as it is and a  lot of that is because most of the bulk  you see on it is actually a lot of  plastic it weighs in at around light  down Oh 757 660 pounds something crazy  like that so there’s still a heavy bike  by all means but I remember still going  going back to the first time I ever rode  one of these the first thing I remember  loading it up into my truck and I  stalled it the first time and was we get  scared just because of how torquey it is  I mean you see what I mean you barely  get on it  and it just pulls real hard so that’s  one of the things that makes this bike  wicked fun to write despite how on paper  overly overwhelming it may seem and how  big a bike it is a lot of people think  that this bike kind of puts itself out  of the market right there with like the  Yamaha Raider and the VTX 1800 and some  of those other options because it’s so  massive and honestly that I think it’s  true to an extent because your average  typical rider getting into it  this is not going to be the best bike  for you so appearance-wise like I said  I’m not a huge fan of it but I can see  why people would like how it looks
it’s definitely neat unique looking you  don’t see other bikes like this so it is  going to turn heads you are gonna have a  lot of people asking you questions about  it as far as comfort goes my big pet  peeve again it’s got forward controls  with your drag bars and aggressive  stance but it’s surprisingly comfortable  for cruising around it’s not super  aggressive you do lean over the bar over  the tank slightly I’m 5/8 so obviously  if you’re taller and have longer arms  that’s not gonna be as big of an issue  and one thing I was reading in one of  the reviews that people say about this  bike is it’s good for going in straight  lines and why might that be you might  ask well part of the reason is because  you got that massive 240 rear tire and  so it’s really not meant for going out  and carving canyons and doing all that  crazy stuff sorry I just got to get off  and take another look at this thing what  beautiful bike but with all the gobs of  torque like I said from idle up to  redline it is such a blast and I can see  going in straight lines why it’s so much  fun because you just get on it it’s like  a red light to red light bike where  you’re just ripping around having a  blast on it look at that thing  so again that big question why would  anybody mob this mic around being such a  big bike you don’t necessarily have the  comfort you have with your cruiser you  don’t have the performance that you have  with this war bike so where does this  bike fall into place and I’m a believer  there’s a place for every bike out there  and a person for every bike and I think  where Suzuki nailed it with this bike is  you get that custom look it’s a head  turner for sure you get that wow factor  with the appearance but then also the  write itself I think lends itself to  those who are transitioning from the  sportbikes not quite ready to get their  quote/unquote old man Cruiser and they  want something that still just gonna put  a big smile on their face and I think  that’s where the m109 arc  like I said really hits the mark because  because that’s what you got a  performance cruiser not quite as boring  as your typical cruiser you still get  the fun factor  please part of the fun factor you have  with your sport bikes this is not going  to be a bike for a touring and long  distance  you know obviously not built for that in  mind but this is the bike that  motorcycle fairings   you jump  on and just have a complete blast mob it  around so if your commute is 20 30  minutes you know 40 minutes and this is  the bike and you just dig the look and  want to have a complete blast then this  might get some art  all right so overall impressions of the  bike it’s a complete monster man it  really is it’s a fun bike to jump on  cuber Torquay and  you have a blast  in the dragstrip doing the straight runs  on it just getting on the gas it’s not  going to be as good for obviously hit  the canyons for  stuff before it’s big UPIKE as it is it  actually does pretty well even at slow  speeds parking lots all that kind of  thing some of the things I’m not a huge  fan of lots of plastic and with that it  just kind of gives it in my opinion  somewhat of a cheap bill you know kind  of a cheap feel to it  I think all that torque really makes up  for
it it’s not gonna be the best  flooring bike not the most comfortable  there but we’re cruising around town on  this thing is a monster man  some of the other dislikes like I said  just kind of attack and the speedo  placement here it really does not feel  all right let’s see if I can finally get  at zero to 60 I keep breathing keep  watching this  oh my god oh my gosh holy smokes this  thing is just ridiculous I’m not gonna  say how fast the bike ended up going I’m  just gonna spout out a number honey 2230  yeah this thing’s crazy  holy smokes so if that hasn’t answered  the question for you then just to recap  the reason this may be the bike for you  is if you happen to find yourself in  that niche where you’re looking for  something that’s still super powerful  and just a complete monster maybe you  want the biggest and the baddest looking  or maybe you just want something super  gnarly  maybe you’re getting out of sport bikes  and looking for something a little more  comfortable but you’re not quite ready  to retire to that you know Harley  Cruiser then this may very well be the  bike for you and like I said you like it  or you don’t like it as far as  appearance goes that’s it comes down to  personal preference but I don’t think  that you will be dissatisfied with the  overall experience as far as just how  freakin monstrous these motorcycles are  are you guys John’s moto garage I think  that’s gonna do it I think that wraps it  up as always if you dig the content  porfavor like subscribe and we will hit  you guys up on the next one those famous  audios

Triple LED Light Bar Setup Honda Grom

what’s up guys today I wanted to make a  quick video talking about my headlight  setup I’ve actually got a couple of  different comments and people instant  messaging me and stuff like that  basically asking about it where you buy  it and a couple people asking how to  wire it so as for the setup and where to  buy it  first off buy it from Amazon or Ebay  I’ve seen it on the eBay now but Amazon  is the only one I found lately it’s a  hundred and five dollars I think motorcycle fairings  it does  not come with the turn signals but it  comes with the brackets and all three  lights for mine it’s just kind of pieced  together my zero and twenty five LED  light bar and then the two other LED  light bars are just basically copies of  it that I got off Amazon and in the  brackets i got from a buddy and then the  turn signals or TST turn signals so you  don’t have to have all this exact stuff  but i highly recommend just buying it  off Amazon it’s like one hundred and  five dollars and it’d be cheaper to do  that other than the light bar though you  are gonna need one more thing you’re  going to need the bracket in the back so  the bracket is the headlight bracket for  the og Grom if
you have an OG Grom  you’re fine you have no issues just  literally buy this wire it up and you’re  done if you have an SF you are gonna  have issues so you’re gonna need to buy  the og Grum headlight bracket now it’s  not very very expensive I believe it’s  like 25 bucks 27 something like that the  problem is how to install it it’s a very  irritating process to install it  literally that that’s the hardest thing  to install doing this whole entire thing  so to install it you have to take off  your whole headlight obviously you take  off your speedo okay but then you gotta  take off all your handlebars and your  top triple tree don’t forget to take off  your top triple tree you need a 30  millimeter socket a lot of people don’t  have that if you don’t have that you  can’t do it it’s very irritating the  bracket is not bolted in it’s actually  got like prongs sticking up out of the  top and the bottom and they’re held in  by both the brought the bottom and the  top triple  triple tree yeah I’m saying that right  so it’s irritating I’m warning you it’s  a very irritating the install process if  you don’t know how to work on a bike  r1 fairings I  probably wouldn’t do this but I’m trying  to warn you it took me a while and it  was very irritating to install another  thing that I want to warn you guys about  is the turn signals so the turn signals  rtst turn signals they’re actually for  an F zo7 so I had them on my FC I  upgraded to a different turn signal so  they’re kind of weird I don’t know if  the Grom TST turns ring this will work  you could probably use a thinner turn  signal you don’t have to have a turn  signal technically you do technically to  be legal you do but that’s certainly up  to
you you do what you want  but these are really thick so when I  turn the handlebars the turn signals  actually hit the fairings on the side  it’s not a big deal the fairing just  pushes out of the way a little bit and  it’s honestly just barely scraping but  if I could do it again I try to get some  turn signals that were a little thinner  now if you’ve made it all the way  through that I know you want this thing  so it’s gonna work it’s just an  irritating process now on to the wiring  the wiring is not very very difficult  but it’s a little tricky so I’ll try to  explain it as basic and as simple as I  can and no I’m not taking this apart it  took me forever to put together I’m not  taking it apart because it would be a  disaster of wires and literally I  wouldn’t even really be able to show you  anything because everything is  electrical tape and perfectly put away  now for my setup I ran the bottom two as  the running light now you don’t have to  have two running lights you can have one  personally I just wanted to running  lights so when you turn on the key they  come on so the bottom two are on right  now when you want the high beam you flip  the switch there’s your high beam you  can wire them up however you want but  that’s how I have them wired and then  you can also turn on your turn signal so  there’s the high beam turn signals on  you know everything works everything’s  on that’s personally how I like it but  you don’t have to do it that way you  could run them however you want there’s  three so it’s kind of an odd number you  could run it all kinds of  waise now the way that I did it is all  the ground wires for all three LED bars  are tied in together and they’re  grounded to the frame that’s pretty much  it just just grind it to the frame find  a good ground don’t grind it to the  engine or you know a piece of plastic  find a good ground grant it to the frame  even the battery I didn’t say that you  could do the battery now the positive  the positive for the running light okay  whichever ones you want is the running  light the running lights will be on all  the time as soon as you turn on the  ignition
I got a 12 volt ignition bit  which is basically just 12 volts of  power as soon as you turn the ignition  off of the tail light the tail light has  a black wire that is in the harness that  shoots 12 volts through it when you turn  on the ignition  obviously when you turn on the bike the  tail light comes on so that’s the wire  it is a black wire if it’s not a black  one on yours I’m kind of confused it  should be a black wire but you can  always check it with a multimeter now I  did not just grab the the 12 volts  straight from that and take it to this  because I wanted a nice fat wire coming  from the battery for a positive so I ran  a relay up under the seat hopefully you  know what a relay is basically a relay  is just kind of like a fancy switch that  gets power from another wire sort of  kind of it’s kind of confusing watch a  video if you don’t know but the 12-volt  black wire with the tip from the  taillight harness goes into the relay  and as soon as you turn it on it opens  up the relay or connects the relay and  there’s a bet wire coming straight off  the battery straight to my bottom two  lights so it’s plenty of power it’s an  LED so it’s not going to pull that much  power but I just wanted to make sure  that it was going to be bright and good  because obviously it’s gonna be on  during you know stops and goes and I  didn’t want to flickering so I just put  them straight on a relay and straight to  the battery now we know how yamaha r1 fairings  I did the  running lights now as for the high beam  you  this the exact same way but you would  have to get your trigger wire which was  that black ignition wire from the  taillight harness but you would have to  get the wire from whatever switch you  wanted whether it was the switch up top  or you know a new switch or you could  put a switch anyone on the bike it would  work but I personally didn’t want to run  two loop relays I didn’t have two relays  for one but I just thought one led it  probably won’t hurt it so I just ran it  straight off the wire that comes  straight off the switch so the way that  I did that is I grabbed the connector  and part of the wire like a little  length of the wire that comes off of the  stock headlight assembly cut that off  plugged it in multimeter dit found as  soon as it got 12 volts whenever I  turned on the bike and everything and  hit the high beams it got 12 volts so  that’s kind of how I did it it was not  very very difficult I don’t remember  what wire it was and the wire is  different for me anyways because the  switch is different so I really don’t  want to tell you guys a certain wire  because it could be different so just  use a multimeter when you hit your  switch that you want to be your high  beam and it throws 12 volts that’s your  wire now we’ve gone over how I did the  running lights and the high beam as for  the turn signals the turn signals are  literally just plug and play at least  for the TST ones you didn’t have to wire  them in but you should be able to steep  keep your stock connectors so you  shouldn’t have any problem there the  turn signals should just work just like  normal no issues there now you might  have to drill a hole through the bracket  if you do want the turn signal again try  to make sure they’re not too thick  because they will hit the fairings video  guys that’s pretty much  r6 fairings it it’s a pretty  simple install process again the hardest  thing about this whole entire install  process is definitely the headlight  bracket from the og Grom to the SF if
you have an OG you don’t have to worry  about that and it’s a lot more  straightforward and a lot easier but  again if you do have the SF you’re gonna  have to do that you gotta take off the  handlebars the triple tree make sure you  got that 30 millimeter socket you know  there’s there’s a lot that goes into it  a lot of wires a lot of cables  so that is a little bit of a task to do  but it’s definitely doable there’s no  problem with that but that’s pretty much  it the only other piece of advice that  I’ll give you that I just thought about  maybe use a little bit of Loctite on  these bolts going into the headlight and  all that one of the bolts that goes into  my second light bar came loose and it  was just jiggle all over the place so  maybe some Loctite I did I haven’t had  any trouble yet so anyways that’s pretty  much it if you have any questions leave  them down in the comments and I’ll try  to answer them as best I can again sorry  I didn’t take the whole thing apart but  then again if I took the whole thing  apart I feel like I would have confused  you more than helped you so give me a  break this one week and then I’ll be  back to normal so anyways I’ll see you  guys next week

How to remove the fairing on BMW S1000RR 2016

so guys we were back late man last night a bit tired but and of course this to be ready for the track gauge that around the corner today we’re going to remove the rear fairing should be pretty easy for screws one two three and four plus I don’t know what kind of setup you have but the original license plate holder you have to remove these three screws underneath really really done yet remove the three screws and then we have to disconnect some wires that are going through here I’ll get back to you and I remove the screws so guys turned out that I’ve got brain damage you don’t need to disconnect these the only one you have to disconnect is a white one big one sit on the side.
these are new way of indicators so that’s why they didn’t recognize them just remove the big white connector on the right hand side and then you push it through this straining oh there you go license plate folder there’s some changes to this model on my 2011 I could just pull this up but there are some cables wedged in between the frame Authority so I’m guessing we have to remove these two screws one on each side ,BMW Fairings,I’ll do that to see if that helps so that did help I just removed this gap make it bigger and there’s your problem cables here are too thick so you can’t remove the whole piece without unscrewing those screws so you go this back frame of the bike.
but I noticed this battery is much smaller than the old one I guess it’s we’d say they your first connection just protective limit guys next you’re gonna take off the side panels should be pretty easy one to treatments down here the whole site panel will come off exactly the same thing on the other side doesn’t look that pretty but hopefully it will protect me and just put a transparent film on top of the frame because I’m changing back and forwards from streets learning to do race learning I don’t want to break so I’m going to move the treats groups .
thank you the screws are released on both sides, motorcycle fairings, I think it’s better to remove the top cover as well and remove the top cover you have of course two screws on each side and then the center screw there hold of this and lift it up on the side panels will come up straight up do this be careful with that there you go so guys this is a bit tricky see you have a hole here and then you have a knob there you have to yank it up first and then you have a lip here let’s lie there so yank it out from the back end then slide it forward and it will come on say me show you let me show you that was one hand on the other side yank it out slide forward it’s off so it’s completely naked of course the front fairness there there I have to remove that that’s pretty simple so I won’t do the video on that just remove the two screws on both sides and it will come off here today you see you human injections on air there is just underneath here can’t see it really but there’s the open to the air filter and the tank of course your ABS module well that’s it she’s beautiful even naked.
